Return Policy

We are committed to your satisfaction. Returning a product can be stressful for customers, so we’re here to help you get it right the first time. Our talented product experts are available to help you select the right product for your needs and application. We encourage you to take advantage of our expertise before making your purchase. Requested returns due to color selection, size issues, or changes in your needs such as, but not limited to, location, decorating, or family emergencies will be subject to a return fee not less than 1/3 of your purchase price and the cost of transportation.

Mattresses Comfort Exchange Policy:

  • Our sleep professionals will work very hard to help you purchase the correct mattress on the first try but we know that it can be challenging to feel the support and comfort that you need with just a short visit to our showroom, so we are happy to accommodate the process of trial and error. Even if that means you need to try multiple mattresses in your home before finding the one that works best for you.
  • To utilize this comfort exchange policy an approved mattress protector must have been purchased from Mattress Barn with the mattress and before delivery.
  • The mattress must be slept on for at least 4 weeks but not longer than 8 weeks. Durning that 4-week window, you will be eligible to exchange your mattress for any other equal or better-quality mattress that the Mattress Barn offers.
  • You will receive the purchase price of the initial mattress minus a $100.00 comfort exchange fee per mattress, as store credit to be applied to any other equal or better-quality mattress that Mattress Barn offers. The purchase price of your mattress does not include tax, delivery charges, or accessories.
  • We do require that our “in home” delivery professionals perform the exchange of the new mattress and return of the exchanged mattress. You will be responsible for the costs associated with our staff completing the exchange. (see delivery pricing above.

Defective Products:

  • Most of our products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. See your product literature or speak with one of our product experts for details. If your product is defective upon arrival notify our delivery professionals before they leave your home. If your product was shipped by a third party and arrived damaged, please notify a product expert of the problem within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
  • After the initial successful delivery is preformed, Mattress Barn will assist in repairs and warranty claims for many years after your purchase, however transportation of items after the initial delivery is not covered by manufacture warranty or by Mattress Barn. Most manufacturers cover all parts and labor for at least one year after the purchase date. If a repair or warranty exchange is needed, the customer is responsible for the transportation of the item, or you can hire Mattress Barn to transport the item for you. After the manufacture warranties expire, Mattress Barn offers repair services with charges based on labor plus parts cost. Mattress Barn features new furniture and used furniture through the Clearance Barn.

Damaged Products: Product(s) damaged during delivery are eligible for exchange at no charge to you. Product(s) will be delivered by one of our delivery teams for all local deliveries; Feel free to call us for our local delivery area. Upon delivery, inspect your product for damage. If the product is damaged, you have the right to refuse the delivery. We will contact you to schedule another delivery. Freight delivery policy varies based on the manufacturer. The Product Does Not Meet Your Needs:

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you will need to contact the store regarding any cancellation or return. Returned product will incur a restocking fee equal to 1/3 of your purchase price. Delivered products in use are not returnable. Any returned products must be free of any cosmetic damage. Products that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for return. Any product that has been installed or attempted to be installed cannot be returned. Shipping and handling charges from our warehouse are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred when returning a product.
  • Special order merchandise is subject to a 33% restocking fee – even if not yet delivered – and will not be eligible for return if delivered and out of the box.
  • The customer agrees to the terms and conditions published above when they place a completed order with our company. In addition, the customer authorizes their credit card company to abide by these terms. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.
  • Refunds will be handled according to our store’s policies stated here in.

Shipping Policy / Delivery Policy

  • Mattress Barn offers FREE Delivery up to 90 miles from Marshall MN with any purchase over $799. This free service includes dropping off all products at your door outside your building with one delivery professional. If your purchase is under $799 curbside drop off is still available for $2.00 per mile from Marshall MN. If you are more than 90 miles from Marshall MN and your purchase is over $799, the first 90 miles is free and then $2.00 per mile after 90 miles.
  • Mattress Barn also offers White Glove delivery to anywhere in the continental United States for $3.00 per mile from Marshall MN. This White Glove service includes all items fully installed and assembled in your home in the room of your choice by two qualified delivery professionals. Removal of all packaging. We will also assist in moving old items out of the way. Also available for a charge, we will dispose of any furniture related items that you would like to get rid of.
  • Please be assured that your items will ship out as soon as possible from the date of purchase. If a special order is placed, please anticipate a longer delivery time. You will be notified once the item has been received in our warehouse. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. If you are trying to estimate when a package will be delivered, please note the following: Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Special custom orders require 1/3 of the purchase price up front before we place the order with the manufacturer.
